Based on the cult-classic harmonic percolator design, the EHX Percolator covers a wide range of textures, from gritty transistor-style overdrive through to aggressive fuzz, octave-like overtones and heavily gated sounds.

The circuit's asymmetrical clipping emphasises even-order harmonics, producing a dynamic and highly responsive character that changes noticeably with playing technique and pickup output.
